Top Model of the World

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Top Model of the World is an international modeling competition that seeks the “most important” female model who is independent, talented and fashion-conscious. The competition started in Miami in 1993 , organized by the Globana Group as competition for the Supermodel of the World by FORD Models . In 1996 the WBO, World Beauty Organization SA from Panama, took over the rights to the election and was held for the first time in Germany. In 2005 and 2006 the election took place in Asia (China). For the first time ever in a Muslim country, the Top Model of the World election 2007 took place in Hurghada, Egypt. Then again alternately in Germany and Egypt. In 2019 the 26th edition is planned for January 2020 in Egypt.
