Alessandra Alores

Alessandra Alores ( Ukrainian Олександра Водяникова / Oleksandra Wodjanykowa , Russian Alexandra Vodjanikova ; born October 6, 1984 in Kiev , Soviet Union ) is a Ukrainian - German photo model and beauty queen .

Life

On 18 January 2003, the Munich-based drama student was as Miss Bavaria in Bielefeld Disco Night Arena for Miss Germany crowned. She caused a stir during the interview. When asked which politician she would like to meet, she replied “ Saddam Hussein ”. At the end of February 2003 she flew to Baghdad with her manager . There was no meeting with the dictator; instead she attended social institutions.

In the same year she ran for Miss Universe in June and for Miss International in October and reached the semi-finals of Miss Europe in September . She took part in these competitions under her maiden name Alexandra Vodjanikova.

After her “year in office” Alores began to work as a model, among others at Wilhelmina and IMG Models , both in New York , in Germany also at Metropolitan .

On December 22nd, 2007, she won the Top Model Germany title at Stilwerk in Berlin and the Top Model of the World competition in Egypt in January 2008 .

On September 5, 2009, Alores was named "Miss World Germany 2009", but was later disqualified for taking photos that were not approved by the organizer.
