Jaffar Express

The Jaffar Express ( Urdu : جعفر ایکسپریس) is a daily express train of the Pakistan Railways between Quetta and Rawalpindi in Pakistan .

history

The train was named after Mir Jaffar Khan Jamali , who was one of the leading figures in the Muslim League . The train was inaugurated on April 16, 2003 by Prime Minister Zafarullah Khan Jamali . It runs over 1,458 kilometers on the broad-gauge Quetta – Rawalpindi line . Halts are Sibi , Sukkur , Multan and Lahore .

The Jaffar Express offers seats in Economy and Business Class , the travel time for the entire route is approximately 28 hours and 30 minutes.
