Heribert Dittrich (born September 3, 1948 ) is a former German soccer player . In the 1967/68 season the attacker played four Bundesliga games at FC Schalke 04 .

Career

Dittrich played in the youth team of FC Schalke 04 before playing his first Bundesliga games in the 1967/68 season . For the miners he made his debut on September 30, 1967 in the 0-0 home draw against 1. FC Nürnberg , he formed the left wing of Schalke together with the half-left Gerhard Neuser in the then still common World Cup system . He completed three more games that season. One of them in the 1-0 home win against Borussia Dortmund by standing on the pitch for over 90 minutes. In the following season he could not prevail and did not play another game.

Dittrich moved to TuS Neuendorf and from then on played in the second-class Regionalliga Südwest . He made his debut on the start day of the 1969/70 season, August 10, 1969, under coach Herbert Rappsilber in a 4-1 home win against SVW Mainz in the Regionalliga Südwest. At the end of the round, he had scored five goals in 22 league games in addition to fellow players such as goalkeeper Georg Marwig , Alfred Brecht , Helmut Horsch and Günther Funke and was eighth with Neuendorf. This was followed by three rounds under coach Werner Mangold , where in the 1971/72 season with fifth place, the best placement in the time of Dittrich at TuS in the Regionalliga Südwest was achieved. In the last year of the old second-rate regional league, 1973/74, he finished twelfth with his club; he had scored five goals in 26 games alongside fellow strikers Franz-Peter Hermann and Günter Karbowiak . With the game on April 28, 1974 at SV Alsenborn (0: 3), the regional league chapter was over. Since only the clubs Borussia Neunkirchen, 1. FC Saarbrücken, FC 08 Homburg, Röchling Völklingen, 1. FSV Mainz 05, Wormatia Worms and FK Pirmasens have been nominated in two seasons from 1974/75 for the 2nd Bundesliga from 1974/75 were, Dittrich and TuS Neuendorf were no longer in the second class, but in the amateur area.

From 1969 to 1974 Dittrich played 124 regional league games for TuS Neuendorf and scored 23 goals.
