Alfred Walter Brecht (born June 16, 1942 in Lisdorf ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Beginning

Brecht, who, like Rainer Ohlhauser, first played for SV Sandhausen in the first amateur league in North Baden and became the North Baden amateur champion with the team in 1961 , moved to the upper division FC Bayern Munich at the beginning of the 1962/63 season at the age of 20 .

He made his debut for Bayern on September 9, 1962 (4th matchday) in a 6-1 defeat in the away game against TSG Ulm 1846 . His first of two goals in only six league games he scored on February 10, 1963 (22nd matchday) in the intermittent 1-1 draw in the 3-1 home game against BC Augsburg . For Bayern he managed even by international standards a goal: In the quarter-final -Hinspiel the Fair Cup on March 13, 1963 in Munich achieved it at the 1: 4 defeat to eventual runners Dinamo Zagreb late consolation goal .

In the following season he was active at the second-rate SV Waldhof Mannheim in the Regionalliga Süd , played 17 games and scored 11 goals. In the second season, 1964/65 , he was only used sporadically and therefore joined the Ludwigshafener SC in the Regionalliga Südwest . He then moved within the league to SpVgg Weisenau for which he scored 26 goals in 30 games in the 1966/67 season and was thus top scorer .

The End

After only one season with Bundesliga relegated Fortuna Düsseldorf , he let his career end in the 1970/71 season after three seasons with TuS Neuendorf in the Regionalliga Südwest.
