Jaime Alberto Castrillón Vásquez (born April 5, 1983 in Puerto Nare ) is a Colombian football player .

Club career

Vásquez began his career in 2002 with the first division club Independiente Medellín . He quickly became one of the best midfielders in the country and was able to become champions with the team in 2002 and 2004. In the eight years in Medellín, he played in over 300 competitive games.

In 2009 he left Colombia for China . He played with Nanchang Bayi for a year before returning to Colombia and playing for Once Caldas , with whom he also became champions.

On January 25, 2012 Vásquez moved to the USA for the Colorado Rapids . After two and a half years, he moved to the NASL at Jacksonville Armada .

National team

At the junior soccer world championship 2003 he was with the U-20 national team of Colombia third of the tournament. With the senior national team he took part in the Copa America in 2004 and 2007 . In total he played 29 times for Los Cafeteros and scored 5 goals.
