Jake Scott (Director)
Jake Scott (* 1965 ) is a British film and music video director.
His father is the film director Ridley Scott . For his 1979 film Alien - The uncanny creature from a strange world , Scott acted as the light double . Scott gained further experience in the film business as a visual consultant for the 1989 Film Dealers and in 1992 as a conceptual artist at Alien 3 .
Since the early 1990s, Jake Scott is a director of music videos, including Everybody Hurts the musical group REM from the year 1993. In 1997, staged it an episode of the television series The Hunger , based on the feature film desire , shot by his uncle Tony Scott , is based .
Scott then shot other music videos, in 1999 he made his feature film debut with Plunkett & Macleane - Against Death and the Devil . In 2004 he made a short film with Tooth Fairy , the lead role was played by American actor Chris Noth . It wasn't until 2010 that Scott's second feature film followed with Welcome to the Rileys .
As a music video director, Scott has worked with the likes of Radiohead , Tori Amos and the Cranberries .
On June 1, 2009, he turned the music video for the song 22 of Lily Allen .
His sister Jordan Scott and brother Luke Scott are also active in the film business.
