Jordan Scott (* 1977 in England ) is a British director and screenwriter .

Life

Jordan Scott was born in England to producer Sandy Watson and director Ridley Scott .

After a brief acting appearance in White Squall and stunt appearances in Legende - both films by her father - she turned to writing and directing.

With the episode Jonathan of the film All Children of the World, which was created together with her father, about a war photographer traumatized by the Balkan War (played by David Thewlis ), who takes refuge in his childhood dreams, she attracted greater attention.

“There is no better medium than cinema to sensitize people (…) The biggest personal change was that I worked with my father Ridley for the first time. And it went so smoothly that we did a joint project right afterwards. "All the children of this world" brought me closer to my father. That alone was worth it. "

In 2005 she co-directed a series of commercials for Prada with her father .

Her film Cracks with Eva Green and Juno Temple was released in theaters in 2009. This film is about the network of relationships between female graduates of an elite school at which the new appointment of the elegant and unconventional Miss G as a teacher is causing a stir.
