Luke Scott

Luke Scott (born May 1, 1968 ) is a British director .

Life

Luke Scott was born in 1968 to director Ridley Scott and Felicity Heywood and is the brother of filmmaker Jake Scott . At the same time, he is the half-brother of Jordan Scott , who also tried to follow in the footsteps of their father and works as a camerawoman and filmmaker.

In the film The Duelists , directed by his father and released in 1977, Scott had received a minor supporting role. Scott was the art director of the 1992 film, 1492 Conquering Paradise , which his father also directed. After Scott presented his science fiction short Loom in 2012 , he made his feature film debut as a director in 2016 with the mystery horror film The Morgan Project , which stars Anya Taylor-Joy and Kate Mara . In 2017, Scott released several short films to support Alien: Covenant and Blade Runner 2049 , which his father directed or was executive producer.
