Jake and the Never Land Pirates (Original title: Jake and the Never Land Pirates ) is an American animated series from 2011. It is an offshoot of the 1953 Disney film Peter Pan . Since the 100th episode, the title has been Captain Jake and the Never Land Pirates .

Jake and his friends Izzy, Cubby and the parrot Skully live on an island near Neverland. The children are a thorn in the side of the notorious Captain Hook and he tries everything to make their lives as difficult as possible, such as stealing their belongings. To complete an adventure, Jake and his friends have to solve three tasks in each episode, after which they receive gold doubloons, which they put in their team treasure chest at the end.

- Jake is the main character and the captain of the Never Land Pirates. He speaks to the audience frequently and asks them to help with the tasks.
- Izzy
- She is a member of the Never Land Pirates and is always in a good mood. She wears a shimmery pouch around her neck so that she can fly in an emergency.
- Cubby
- Cubby is the smallest and most fearful of the Never Land pirates. However, in times of need, his friends can always rely on him.

- The first mate on the Jolly Roger is a good-hearted man who basically likes the children. Yet he is loyal to his captain, no matter how badly he is treated by him.

- The crocodile is also usually found near Hook. If it appears or only draws attention to itself by the ticking of the clock it has swallowed, the pirate panic.
Production and publication
The series was produced in 2011 by Walt Disney Television Animation , directed by Kelly Ward and Howy Parkins, and the concept is by Bob Gannaway. The music was composed by Kevin Hendrickson and Loren Hoskins. Since February 14, 2011, the 27 episode series has been broadcast on Disney Junior in the United States.
