Jakob Steffan Prize

The Jakob Steffan Prize - full name: “Jakob Steffan Prize against right-wing extremism and for a strong democracy” - has been awarded by the Rheinhessen gegen Rechts e. V. awarded. The prize, which is reminiscent of the Social Democratic Interior Minister Jakob Steffan , is awarded in two categories: on the one hand to a person and on the other to a youth group.

The award honors school and youth projects in Rheinhessen that work against right-wing extremism and for a strong democracy . The board of the association decides on the award after the nominations.
