Jakub Auguston
Jakob Auguston (* around 1668; † February 3, 1735 in Pilsen ) was a Czech architect from a family originally from Italy . He was mainly active in western Bohemia .
Life
He was probably born in Rome around 1668 . He comes from a ramified Auguston family, whose members were mainly active in the construction industry in western Bohemia. In 1692 he was naturalized in Pilsen and built a large workshop. Over time, he became a sought-after and wealthy architect. He died in Pilsen on February 3, 1735 and was buried in the cemetery of the Church of St. Anne.
