Life
Klinckebeil was the son of a city judge, his grandfather was the mayor of Kallies. As a young person he left his homeland, which was deserted by the Thirty Years' War , and acquired a comprehensive education abroad. In 1658 he was the Saxon-Merseburg Salt Authority governor in Guben , but was also known as a poet at that time. Sigmund von Birken had crowned him poet according to the custom of the time.
