Jakob Krall
Jakob Krall (born July 27, 1857 in Volosca , † April 27, 1905 in Vienna ) was an Austrian Egyptologist .
Krall specialized in demotic , Coptic and Greek papyri . He was a member of the Academy of Sciences in Vienna. His name is still associated with the Agramer mummy bandage , the text of which he was the first to recognize as Etruscan .
He was married to Emma Büdinger, a daughter of the historian Max Büdinger .
He was buried at the Vienna Central Cemetery .
In 1962 the Krallgasse in Vienna- Donaustadt (22nd district) was named after him.
