Jakob Nolte
Jakob Nolte (* 1988 in Gehrden ) is a German writer .
Life
Jakob Nolte grew up in Barsinghausen am Deister. He studied scenic writing at the Berlin University of the Arts . Together with Michel Decar he works under the name Nolte Decar . In 2013 they received the Brothers Grimm Prize of the State of Berlin for their play Das Tierreich , which premiered at the Schauspiel Leipzig . With his play Conversation because of the pumpkins , he was invited to the Autorentheatertage at the Deutsches Theater Berlin in 2016 . His debut novel ALFF was awarded the 2016 Art Prize Literature Photography and was published by the publishing model project Fiktion in a translation into English by Léon Dische Becker and Emily Dische-Becker. In 2017 he was nominated for the German Book Prize for “Terrible Violence” . In 2018 he took part in the Ingeborg Bachmann Competition in Klagenfurt. Together with Leif Randt , he runs the Tegel Media platform . Nolte lives in Berlin.
