Jakob Roedler
Jakob Roedler , also Jakob Rödler , (* 1808 in Mainz , † 1862 in Vienna ) was a German landscape painter .
Life
Jakob Roedler was born the son of a master builder and carpenter. From November 7, 1825, he studied history painting at the Royal Academy of Arts in Munich .
After completing his studies, he worked as a landscape painter in Vienna . He exhibited his works in the years 1834, 1835, 1838, 1839, 1840, 1841, 1844, 1847 and 1850 in the Vienna Academy in St. Annahof .
His brother Peter (1811–1850) worked as a painter and lithographer.
