Jakob Sinn (born September 30, 1895 in Uetersen Schleswig-Holstein , † December 18, 1967 in Schonach Baden-Württemberg ); was a German theater and film actor.

Live and act

Sinn began his career at the theater and was seen at the following venues, among others: Erich-Ziegel-Bühnen in Hamburg, Volksbühne Berlin, Deutsches Theater Berlin, Theater in Friedrichstraße Berlin, again Deutsches Theater and, in the last German season in 1943/44 , the urban stage in Königshütte, Upper Silesia. After the war he continued his work at the Hebbeltheater in Berlin at the end of the 1940s. As early as the 1950s, there was no longer any evidence of permanent commitment from Sinn, who lived in Berlin-Wilmersdorf until the end.

With the beginning of the sound film era, Sinn also appeared several times in front of the camera, but only rarely came out through batch appearances. Until 1945 he was seen as a policeman, prison director, farmer, officer and estate inspector. After the war, Jakob Sinn no longer continued his film work.
