Jakob Strobl

Jakob Strobl (born April 27, 1939 in Reit im Winkl ) is a German politician ( CSU ). He was from 1990 to 2002 District of Traunstein district .

Jakob Strobl was initially an employee of the traffic office (1956–1959) and treasurer (1959–1972), later managing director (1972–1978) and finally, until 1990, first mayor of Reit im Winkl for twelve years. From 1990 to 2002 he was the district administrator of the Traunstein district.

During his term of office the construction of the waste incineration plant in Burgkirchen an der Alz and the merger of the clinics in Traunstein and Trostberg fell.
