Jakob Thoustrup (born June 15, 1981 in Holstebro , Denmark ) is a Danish handball player .
Career
Thoustrup started playing handball at Holstebro Håndbold 90. Later the backcourt player went hunting for goals for Team Tvis Holstebro , with whom he played in the highest Danish league. In the summer of 2008, the right-hander moved to league rivals Fredericia HK . In February 2009 the German club SG Flensburg-Handewitt signed him , where he was under contract until the end of the 2008/09 season. He then signed a contract with Århus Håndbold . In summer 2012 he returned to Team Tvis Holstebro. In the 2014/15 season he ran for the second division Lemvig-Thyborøn Håndbold . He then joined Mejrup-Hvam. Since summer 2014 he has been working as handball coordinator in the Holstebro municipality .
Jakob Thoustrup has so far played three international matches for the Danish men's national handball team , in which he scored one goal.
