The Way of St. James, which was opened and signposted in 2008, leads in 19 stages from Val Müstair through the entire canton, which it leaves again at the Oberalp Pass to join the routes of the European Way of St. James .

The path is designed in such a way that all churches of both denominations that are under the patronage of James are included in the route. Therefore z. B. in Schanfigg did not choose the first favorite route over the Schanfigger Höhenweg , but set up the path on the other side of the valley to pass the Tschiertsch Jakobskirche there.
