Maciej Rybus (born August 19, 1989 in Łowicz ) is a Polish football player . He is under contract with Lokomotiv Moscow .

Career

Maciej Rybus learned to play football with Pelikan Łowicz and MSP Szamotuły . In 2007 he moved to Legia Warsaw , where he was only used in the youth team. On November 24, 2007 he made his debut in the Ekstraklasa and has been a regular player since then. On February 13, 2012 it was announced that Rybus had signed a contract with the Russian first division club Terek Grozny until mid-2015 , but it will only come into force on February 24. So he could still be in the squad on the first match day after the winter break in the game against Górnik Zabrze and play the two games against Sporting Lisbon in the sixteenth finals of the Europa League . For the 2016/17 season he moved to France to Olympique Lyon .

Career in the national team

On November 14, 2009 Rybus celebrated his debut in the Polish national team in a 0-1 win against Romania . On November 18, 2009, he scored his first and decisive goal in a 1-0 win against Canada .

At the 2018 World Cup in Russia, he was part of the Polish squad . He was used in two group games and retired with the team after the group stage.
