Guilherme Alvim Marinato ( Russian Гилерме Алвим Маринато / Gilerme Alwim Marinato ; born December 12, 1985 in Cataguases , Minas Gerais , Brazil ), called Guilherme , is a Russian football goalkeeper of Brazilian origin. He plays for Lokomotiv Moscow .

Career

Guilherme began his career at Athletico Paranaense . In 2007 he switched to Lokomotiv Moscow ; he is the first Brazilian goalkeeper in Russian professional football.

National team

On November 23, 2015, Guilherme took Russian citizenship. He was then for two friendlies Russia against Lithuania and France nominated. On March 26, 2016, he finally made his debut in the game against Lithuania when he came on for Stanislaw Krizjuk in the 46th minute of the game . He is the first naturalized national player in the Russian national team.

At the European Football Championship in France in 2016 , he was accepted as the second substitute goalkeeper in the Russian squad , but was not used.

Private life

In March 2009, Guilherme married his long-time girlfriend Raffaela. After the wedding, which took place in Brazil, Raffaela moved to live with her husband in Moscow. The couple has two daughters (* 2012 and * 2014). The family lives in the small town of Angelowo in Moscow Oblast .

Guilherme is a devout Roman Catholic Christian and likes to visit the cathedral in Moscow. He has two tattoos with a religious background.
