Jakub Wilk (born July 11, 1985 in Poznan , Poland ) is a Polish football player . He has been playing for Bytovia Bytów since the beginning of 2017 .
Club career
Wilk started his career in the youth team of SKS 13 Poznan. In the 2003/04 season he joined the amateur squad of Lech Poznan . At the beginning of 2005 he finally made the leap into the first team in Lech.
Internationally, he played for the first time in the 2005/06 season. He played with Lech in the UI Cup game of the 2nd round against the representative from France RC Lens . Wilk came on in the 59th minute for Artur Marciniak . The game ended 0-1.
In January 2012 he was loaned to league rivals Lechia Gdańsk until the end of the 2011/12 season. In summer 2012 he returned to Poznan. After only five appearances in the first half of the 2012/13 season , Wilk prematurely terminated his contract in January 2013.
At the end of February 2013 Wilk signed a contract with the Lithuanian first division club VMFD Žalgiris Vilnius . He left this after half a year and joined the Romanian club FC Vaslui . At the beginning of 2014 he returned to Vilnius and became champion and cup winner with the club. His contract was not renewed; Wilk has been without a club since July 1, 2015. At the end of October 2015 Jakub Wilk signed a contract with the Polish second division club Zagłębie Sosnowiec . In early 2017 he moved to league rival Bytovia Bytów .
National team
He made his international debut for Poland on February 7, 2009 in a friendly against Lithuania (1: 1). In total, he played three international matches in 2009. He has not been nominated since 2010.
