The Puchar Polski 2008/09 was the 55th draw of the Polish cup competition. It began on July 30, 2008 with the qualifying matches for the preliminary round and ended on May 19, 2009 with the final in the Śląski Stadium in Chorzów .

Lech Posen won the national cup for the fifth time in its sixth finals. Final opponent Ruch Chorzów reached the final for the eighth time and lost for the fifth time. By winning the cup, Lech Posen qualified for participation in the third qualifying round of the 2009/2010 Europa League .

Defending champion Legia Warsaw was eliminated in the semifinals.

The first round games took place on August 26th and 27th, 2008. The 14 winners of the preliminary round matches as well as the 18 teams of the 2nd division took part. Stal Stalowa Wola received a bye because Polonia Warsaw had been drawn as an opponent. Polonia took over from Dyskobolia Grodzisk in the Ekstraklasa and only intervened in the second round.
