Marcin Kikut (born June 25, 1983 in Barlinek , Poland ) is a football player from Poland.
Career
Kikut began his career with a club in his hometown called Pogon Barlinek. In 2002 he moved to his first professional club, Amica Wronki .
With Amica he played in the 2004/05 UEFA Cup . Kikut made his international debut on October 21, 2004 against the representatives from Scotland , the Glasgow Rangers , on matchday one of the group stage. The game was lost 0: 5. Kikut came on in the 60th minute for Karol Gregorek.
In 2006 after the merger of Amica with Lech Posen , the midfielder moved to the second club. In the summer of 2012, his expiring contract was not extended. At the beginning of August 2012, he then signed a two-year contract with league rivals Ruch Chorzów . In the 2012/2013 season he played 14 times in the Ekstraklasa for Ruch. For the second half of the 2013/2014 season, he moved to league rivals Widzew Łódź . However, he could not prevent relegation and moved to the second division promoted Bytovia Bytów for the 2014/2015 season. However, he could not convince here either and switched to the fourth division Formacja Port 2000 Mostki for the 2015/16 season. But only six months later he joined Tarnovia Tarnowo Podgórne.
National team
After three games for the U-21s , Kikut came about five years later on December 10, 2010 in the 2-2 in the away game against Bosnia-Herzegovina for his first appearance in the Polish national team . After that, he only played on February 6, 2011 in Poland's 1-0 victory in Moldova.
