Semir Štilić (born October 8, 1987 in Sarajevo , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Bosnian-Herzegovinian football player .

Career

Štilić began his career at FK Željezničar Sarajevo . In 2005 he joined the first team of the Bosnian club. In three years with Željezničar, he completed 49 games. During his time at home he made his national team debut. Štilić came into play in the friendly match in Antalya on December 15, 2007 against Poland in the 90th minute for Emir Hadzic . The game ended 1-0 for Poland.

In 2008 he moved to Lech Posen .

Štilić made his debut at European club level on August 14, 2008 against Grasshoppers Zurich . The game ended 6-0 for Lech. The Bosnian was replaced in the 90th minute for Anderson Cueto .

In the summer of 2012 he left the Polish club Lech Posen and signed a four-year contract until the end of June 2016 with the Ukrainian first division club Karpaty Lviv on July 23, 2012 .

For the 2013/14 season, Štilić was hired by the Turkish first division club Gaziantepspor . In spring 2014 he left this club and moved to Wisła Krakau in the Polish league .
