Zlatko Tanevski (born August 3, 1983 in Skopje , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a former Macedonian football player .

Club career

Tanevski began his career in his native Macedonia with FK Cementarnica 55, a first division club from Skopje. He made his international debut with Cementarnica in the 2003/04 UEFA Cup season. He played through in the game of the first round on September 23, 2003 against the French representative RC Lens and got a yellow card in the 0-1 defeat. In 2004 he came to local rivals Vardar Skopje , where he also played in the UEFA Cup.

Then he went to Poland and moved to Lech Posen , where he was active on the international stage with his third club. He made his debut for Lech in the Ekstraklasa on March 3, 2007 away against Wisła Płock (1: 1). In the summer of 2010 Tanevski moved within the Ekstraklasa to league rivals GKS Bełchatów . Two years later he went back to his homeland to Vardar Skopje , where he ended his career in 2016.

National team

Zlatko Tanevski played six times for the Macedonian U21 national team. On December 22, 2010, he made his debut for the A-team in a friendly against China in Guangzhou (0-1). It was his only mission.
