Manuel Santos Arboleda Sánchez (born August 2, 1979 in Buenaventura , Colombia ) is a former Colombian football player .

Career

Arboleda began his career with Santa Fe CD , one of the largest clubs in his native Colombia. In 2002 he was sold to Deportes Tolima , from there it was later loaned to Centauros Villavicencio, before moving to Atlético Huila in early 2004 . In 2005 he moved to Cienciano del Cuzco in Peru , from where he went to Europe.

The defender signed with the Polish club Zagłębie Lubin in 2006 . In 2007 he won the Polish championship with Lubin. In the 2007/08 season he played with Zaglebie in qualifying for the UEFA Champions League . In the second qualifying round, he played his first game at European level against Steaua Bucharest (0-1).

In 2008 he moved to Lech Posen in Poland and ended his active career there in 2014 after winning numerous titles.
