Tomasz Brzyski (born January 10, 1982 in Lublin , Poland ) is a Polish football player .
Club career
The 1.70 m tall full-back comes from the youth department of Lublinianka Lublin. Here he also played in the fourth Polish league from 2000 to 2003. In 2003 he moved to league competitor Orlęta Radzyń Podlaski where he played until 2004. For the 2004/2005 season he was obliged by the then first division club Górnik Łęczna , but where he was only used twice in the Ekstraklasa . For the second half of the 2004/05 season he was given to the second division team Radomiak Radom . Here he was able to fight for a regular place immediately and had 49 games and two goals in the second division in 1 ½ years.
In 2006 he was signed by Korona Kielce and finally made his breakthrough in the Ekstraklasa , the highest Polish division. For the second half of the 2007/08 season he moved to the Polish record champions Ruch Chorzów and became a fixture in the team and one of the best full-backs in the league. What did not escape the new Polish national coach Franciszek Smuda . Since the beginning of 2010 he played for the Polish capital club Polonia Warsaw . For Polonia he completed 77 league games in which he scored six times until the winter break of 2012/13. In January 2013 Tomasz Brzyski moved after he prematurely terminated his contract with Polonia to the city rivals Legia Warsaw , where he signed a two-year contract. After the contract was renewed, Brzyski was tied to the capital club until June 30, 2017. After Brzyski fell out with the then coach Besnik Hasi , he moved to league rivals Cracovia Krakow . Here he played 22 league games. For the 2017/18 season , Tomasz Brzyski switched to the newly promoted Sandecja Nowy Sącz and only one year later to the fourth division Motor Lublin .
National team
Tomasz Brzyski made his debut on January 17, 2010 in the friendly against Denmark (1: 3), which was played in Nakhon Ratchasima ( Thailand ), for the Polish national football team .
