Jalmari Sauli ( Jalmari Verner Sauli ; born August 17, 1889 in Hämeenlinna , † April 22, 1957 in Tampere ) was a Finnish athlete , journalist and writer .
At the Olympic Games in London in 1908 he was seventh in javelin and shot put and eighth in javelin throw (free style). In the discus throw , he did not make the top eleven.
From 1911 to 1914 he was a journalist with Aamulehti , then with Hämeen Sanomat. He wrote about 40 books, most of them youth literature.
