James J. Hurtak

James J. Hurtak (born 1940 in the United States ) is an American anthropologist and author.

biography

Hurtak graduated from the University of California with a degree in social science and linguistics and a degree in history and oriental studies from the University of Minnesota .

He was Assistant Professor of Anthropology and Assistant Professor of Religious Studies at California State University , Northridge , and Assistant Professor of Anthropology at African and Islamic Studies California State University , Los Angeles . He has also taught at the School of Critical Studies , California Institute of the Arts , Valencia, and the Extension Program at the University of California , Irvine .

He was the International Director of TMAC (Technology Marketing Analysis Corporation) in San Francisco . For many years this company held one of the largest exhibitions on renewable and alternative energy technologies in the world, the so-called RETSIE (Responsive Energy Technology Symposium and International Exchange). Hurtak was director of LASERTECH in Campinas, a Brazilian company specializing in laser technology. Furthermore, he was director of SUELO TEC in Caracas , Venezuela , a company specializing in remote sensing applications.

Hurtak has written 15 books that have been translated into multiple languages. Some of his works have a metaphysical character or reflect his extensive studies in comparative religion . Have become known u. a. The book of knowledge: The keys of Enoch and serenity in turbulent times , which he wrote in collaboration with his physicist colleague Russell Targ . His computer-animated films deal with mystical or futuristic topics such as: B. Initiation or The Light Body (2013).

Hurtak is President of the Academy for Future Science and a founding member of the Mars Society in the United States. He was also responsible as a technical consultant for the bestseller The Doomsday Conspiracy (1992) by Sidney Sheldon . He presented his scientific research work a. a. at the Academies of Science in Moscow and Beijing . He was a speaker at the “Plenary Session, Dialogue of Civilizations” of the United Nations (Jan. 2001), at the UN World Summit on Sustainable Development (WSSD, August 2002) in Johannesburg and at the UN RIO + 20 Environment Summit, 2013 in Rio de Janeiro.

He lives in California with his wife Desiree Hurtak.
