James Moorhouse

James Moorhouse (born January 1, 1924 in Copenhagen , † January 6, 2014 ) was a British politician .

Life

Moorhouse attended King's College London and Imperial College London and studied aeronautics . He was a member of the Conservative Party . From 1979 to 1999 he was a member of the European Parliament . In 1999 he left the Conservative Party because he did not agree with the policies of the Conservative Party under William Hague with regard to the euro and switched to the Liberal Democrats party .
