James Parker Joyce, 1882.

James Parker Joyce (born March 17, 1834 in Southampton , England , † January 16, 1903 ) was a New Zealand politician . He was non-party.

biography

Joyce was in Southampton ( England born). In 1958 he emigrated from the Ballarat and Bendigo gold fields to Southland . He was a journalist and newspaper editor.

In the general election in 1875 he was representative of Wallace constituency until he was defeated in the 1879 election. He then represented the constituency of Awarua from 1881 until his resignation in 1887.
