James Reynolds (composer)

James Reynolds (* 1953 in Long Beach, California ) is an American composer of radio drama and theater music.

Life

James Reynolds studied contemporary music with John Adams as well as drums at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and composition in Cologne with Michael von Biel . He has been writing music for literary productions, thrillers, fairy tales and children's radio plays for WDR since then . His works are shaped by new music , Broadway musicals , European musical theater and avant-garde synth pop . He is interested in the connection of words, sounds and images.

James Reynolds lives in Berlin.
