The Jamestown Titans were an American ice hockey team from Jamestown , New York . The team played in the 2003/04 season in the North Eastern Hockey League . The home games were played in the Jamestown Savings Bank Ice Arena .
history
The team was founded in 2003 as a franchise of the North Eastern Hockey League , which was held for the first time . In their only season, the Titans finished third in the regular season. Since the league leaders, the Mohawk Valley Comets , did not take part in the finals shortly before the playoffs due to financial problems, the Jamestown Titans met the York IceCats in the finals . The team from the US state of New York finally prevailed and won the Herb Brooks Memorial Trophy as winners of the North Eastern Hockey League.
