Jamie Chamberlain (born August 2, 1981 in Sarnia , Ontario ) is a Canadian ice hockey player who ended his professional career with the EC Hannover Indians in the 2nd Bundesliga in 2012 .

Career

Jamie Chamberlain began his career as a hockey player in the Canadian Junior League Ontario Hockey League , in which he was active from 1998 to 2002 for the Peterborough Petes and Kingston Frontenacs . During this period he was selected in the NHL Entry Draft 1999 in the ninth round as a total of 265th player by the Dallas Stars , for which he however never played. Instead, he spent four years in the team of the University of Western Ontario in the Canadian college sports association Canadian Interuniversity Sport before making his professional ice hockey debut for the Reading Royals from the ECHL towards the end of the 2005/06 season . For this, the right-shooter scored three goals in a total of seven games and gave two assists.

In the summer of 2006 Chamberlain was obliged by the Hanover Indians from the Oberliga , with whom he rose as a champion in the 2008/09 season in the 2nd Bundesliga .
