Jamie Waylett (born July 21, 1989 in London , England ) is a British actor who became known worldwide as starring as Vincent Crabbe in the Harry Potter films .

Life

In 2000 he was cast for the role of Vincent Crabbe in the Harry Potter films. A total of over 80,000 applicants were counted for this role. The first part of the series premiered in November 2001. This role suddenly made Waylett world famous.

In October 2006 he hit the headlines when the British tabloid The People reported in an article about his alleged drug addiction. In April 2009, marijuana was found in his car during a police check. An examination of the apartment then revealed several cannabis plants. On his 20th birthday, July 21, 2009, Waylett was sentenced to 120 hours of community service by a London court.

His role was deleted from the filming of the last Harry Potter tape. Nothing is known about a continuation of his career in other roles.

In March 2012, he was sentenced to two years in prison for allegedly contributing to chaos and violence during the 2011 riots in England . He is also said to have kept stolen property.
