Jamie Woodman (born August 31, 1994 in Kardinya ) is an Australian ice hockey player who has been under contract with Perth Thunder in the Australian Ice Hockey League since 2014 .

Career

Jamie Woodman began his career as a hockey player with the Blackhawks IHC in the Western Australian Super League (WASL) . In addition, he was active in the southern hemisphere winter in North America, where he attended the Banff Hockey Academy from 2010 to 2013 and played for the Palm Beach Hawks in the 2013/14 season . Since 2014 he has been playing for Perth Thunder in the Australian Ice Hockey League . In addition, he initially continued to work for the Blackhawks IHC in the WASL and in the 2015 season also for the Perth Sharks from the Australian Junior Ice Hockey League. In the 2016 and 2017 seasons, in addition to his assignments at Perth Thunder, he also played for the Whitehawks IHC in the WASL. He has been the team captain of Perth Thunder since 2017. In 2018 he took part in the AIHL All-Star Game.

International

For Australia, Woodman took part in the junior division of the U18 World Cup in Division II in 2012 and the U20 World Cup in Division II in 2013 and 2014 .

In the men's area, he stood for the first time in the World Championship Division II in 2017 in the line-up of his country . He also played in Division II at the 2018 World Cup .
