Jamkhandi ( Kannada : ಜಮಖಂಡಿ Jamakhaṇḍi [ ˈdʒʌməkʰʌɳɖi ]; also Jamakhandi ) is a city in the Indian state of Karnataka with around 68,000 inhabitants (2011 census).

It is located in the Bagalkot district in the north of Karnataka 76 kilometers northwest of the district capital Bagalkot and is the capital of the Taluk (sub-district) Jamkhandi.

Jamkhandi was the capital of the princely state of Jamkhandi during the British colonial era .
