Jan Štohanzl (born March 20, 1985 in Třebíč ) is a Czech football player who has been under contract with the Czech first division club FK Mladá Boleslav since 2011 . In the fall of 2014 he is in the Indian Indian Super League for the Mumbai City FC play.

Career

Štohanzl started playing football at the age of six with TJ Slavoj TKZ Polná. For the 1996/97 season, the offensive midfielder moved to the youth department of Spartak PSJ Motorpal Jihlava (today: FC Vysočina Jihlava ). His debut in the first team gave Štohanzl in the 2004/05 season, in which the team was promoted to the Gambrinus League . In the first half of the 2005/06 season he played 13 first division games for Jihlava and moved to FK Teplice during the winter break . There he was used 55 times in three years, scoring two goals. For the second half of the 2008/09 season, Štohanzl was awarded to his former club Vysočina Jihlava, for whom he scored three goals in 13 second division games.

In the summer of 2009, the midfielder went to Bohemians 1905 in the Czech capital Prague . There he was a regular player and scored nine goals in 52 (out of 60 possible) games. For the 2010/11 season, Štohanzl moved to FK Mladá Boleslav , where he had a slightly more difficult position and was only 13 times in the starting line-up and was substituted on 10 times in the first year. In the 2011/12 season he played 24 games for Central Bohemia - he scored three goals. In the following season he ran 23 times for the blue-whites, with four hits. In August 2014, Mladá Boleslav made it possible for the now 29-year-old to move to the Indian Super League for Mumbai City FC on loan . The season there will run from October 2014 to December 2014.
