Jan Beneš (born October 24, 1982 in Varnsdorf ) is a Czech football player .

Career

Jan Beneš played thirteen years for FK Ústí nad Labem from 1992 until he moved to VfB Sangerhausen in 2005 . He stayed there for two seasons and went to Halleschen FC in 2007 . Beneš was promoted to the 3rd soccer league in 2012 , where he made 24 professional appearances in the 2012/13 season . In 2013 he moved to the Regionalliga Nordost for FSV Wacker 90 Nordhausen . He stayed there until 2015 and then went back to VfB Sangerhausen for one season. In 2016, the Vice President of FSV Wacker, Holger Scholz, announced that Beneš would move to VfL Pirna-Copitz because he would be closer to his home country of the Czech Republic.

He has been under contract with VfL Pirna-Copitz since 2016 .
