Jan Filip Libicki (born January 17, 1971 in Poznan ) is a Polish politician and has been a member of the Sejm in the V and VI since 2005 . Electoral term.

He is a son of PiS MEP Marcin Libicki . In 1996 he finished his studies in history at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan .

From 1994 to 2002 he was the owner and manager of a translation agency. From 1997 to 2005 he worked as assistant to the chairman of the supervisory board of "EDICA" SA. From 1999 to 2002 he was an advisor to the chairman of the State Foundation for the Rehabilitation of the Disabled. He himself is in a wheelchair.

From 2002 to 2005 he was a councilor in Poznan.

In 1989 he joined the Zjednoczenie Chrześcijańsko-Narodowe (Christian-National Association - ZChN), in 2001 he was a member of the Przymierze Prawicy (Alliance of the Right - PP) and since 2002 of the Prawo i Sprawiedliwość (Law and Justice - PiS).

In the 2005 parliamentary elections , he was elected to the Sejm with 17,503 votes from the PiS list for the Poznan constituency. In the early Sejm elections in 2007 , he ran unsuccessfully for re-election. After Zyta Gilowska had given back her mandate on January 14, 2008, Libicki was sworn in on January 22nd as a member of parliament. He is deputy chairman of the Polish- Taiwanese parliamentary group and a member of the Sejm commissions for social policy and EU affairs.
