Jan Haude

Jan Haude (born October 29, 1981 in Hamm ) is a German politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ). From February 2011 to February 2015 he was the state chairman of the Lower Saxony Greens .

Life and work

In 2001 Haude left the Archigymnasium in Soest with a high school diploma. He then completed a voluntary ecological year at BUNDjugend North Rhine-Westphalia from 2001 to 2002 . In 2002 Haude began studying political science and economics at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg . In 2003 he moved to the Leibniz University of Hanover , where he completed a degree in political science and history with a master's degree in 2008 .

From 2007 to 2011 he was the full-time managing director of the GREEN city association of Hanover.

Haude lives in a stable partnership and is the father of two children.

From 1996 Haude got involved with the Young Greens in Soest . In 2002 and 2003 Jan Haude was briefly a member of the federal board of the Green Youth and was subsequently active in the Green Youth of Lower Saxony as well as in the Green University Groups Oldenburg and Hanover. From 2009 until his election as state chairman, he was state treasurer of the GREEN in Lower Saxony.
