Jan Hošek (born April 1, 1989 in Nýrsko ) is a Czech football player .
Club career
Hošek started playing football at Okula Nýrsko when he was five. The defender played for TJ Klatovy from 2002 to 2005 before moving to Slavia Prague . At Slavia, the defender was taken over into the professional squad in summer 2008. Hošek made his debut in the first Czech football league on February 23, 2009 when his team beat Viktoria Pilsen 3-2 . In July 2010, Hošek moved to FK Teplice . In the summer of 2011 he was loaned to the Polish first division club Cracovia Kraków for a year . After relegation in the summer of 2012, he returned to Teplice. In 2013 he was loaned to FK Baník Sokolov for half a year . In Teplice he was rarely used afterwards and mostly had to sit on the bench or was not even part of the squad. At the beginning of 2016 he left the club to MFK Karviná in the second Czech division . With his new club he achieved promotion in the summer of 2016. Since 2018 he has played again for FK Teplice.
National team
Hošek completed three games for the Czech U-20 team at the 2009 Junior World Cup in Egypt , and then played in the U-21 national team.
