Jan Kazda
Jan Kazda (born October 3, 1958 in Prague ) is a German fusion musician (electric bass, also guitar) and composer of Czechoslovak origin.
Act
Kazda completed an educational music course (major in guitar and minor in double bass) at the music academy department in Wuppertal . He headed the fusion formation Das Pferd ; he was also involved in the productions of Tom Mega and also belonged to Zoff . He has also worked with Ginger Baker , Peter Brötzmann , Hans Reichel and Randy Brecker . As a studio musician, he also worked in the metal sector with The Kovenant ( SETI ) and Therion .
Since 1994 he has been making music at the intersection of art rock and jazz under the name "Kazda" with changing line -ups . He has also been active as a film composer for around ten years, for example for Tatort ( Liebeshunger , 2007) or the feature film Black Wedding by Thomas Bohn .
