Jan Koslowski

Jan Koslowski (born September 3, 1987 in Rostock ) is a German director , author and actor .

Live and act

Jan Koslowski studied theater directing at the Academy for Performing Arts in Baden-Württemberg and in the master class for directing at the Zurich University of the Arts . In 2005 he became a member of the P14 youth theater in Berlin . There he sat in with René Pollesch and also showed his own work. In 2009 he was invited to the Theatertreffen der Jugend and in 2014 was awarded the second prize by the Körber Studio for young directors . His production “Société des Amis - Tindermatch im Oderbruch” was performed at the Fast Forward Festival 2015 in Braunschweig .

Koslowski has worked at the State Theater Stuttgart , Theater Magdeburg , Volkstheater Rostock , Volksbühne Berlin , Schauspielhaus Graz , Badische Staatstheater Karlsruhe , Staatstheater Wiesbaden and the Schauspiel Frankfurt . In addition to his work as a director and author, he is also an actor on stage and in front of the camera. Together with the director and performer Nele Stuhler , he forms the directing duo StuhlerKoslowski and the performance collective Leien des Everyday . Koslowski lives and works in Marseille and Berlin
