Jan Liedtke
Jan Liedtke (born September 19, 1977 in Rüdersdorf near Berlin ) is a German author, director and producer.
Jan Liedtke writes screenplays and plays , which u. a. were performed in Hamburg, Dresden, Potsdam, Heidelberg, Bielefeld, Osnabrück and Stuttgart. For his debut piece " Toronto " he was awarded the Baden-Württemberg Youth Theater Prize in 2004 and invited to the Autorentheatertage at the Thalia Theater in Hamburg .
In 2005 his second play " Kamikaze Pictures " was invited to the Heidelberger Stückemarkt and premiered in the same year in the theater of the city of Heidelberg . In 2006 Jan Liedtke received the German Youth Theater Prize for the play "Kamikaze Pictures" .
In 2013 Jan Liedtke and the director Philippe Besson presented a reworking of the Gerhart Hauptmann plays “ Der Biberpelz ” and “ Der Rote Hahn ” under the title “Roter Hahn im Biberfurz”. Katharina Thalbach , Pierre Besson and Anna Thalbach will play the leading roles at the premiere on January 19, 2014 in the Komödie am Kurfürstendamm Berlin .
In addition to his work as a writer and director, Jan Liedtke is a filmmaker and runs the production company 9pm pictures . His short film “Chicken for Karl” was invited to the Sehs Bäumen international student film festival , the German-Russian student film days in Moscow and the renowned 34th Max Ophüls Prize film festival in Saarbrücken. At the International Comedy Cluj Film Festival 2013 in Cluj-Napoca ( Romania ), “Chicken for Karl” won the Best Student Shortfilm award . It was first broadcast on January 23, 2013 on Saarland Radio . He lives vegan and is the organizer of various events in the field.
