Jan Miller (born September 1, 1957 ) is a former Australian squash player .

Career

Jan Miller was active as a squash player in the 1980s. She reached her highest ranking in the world rankings with rank ten in January 1984. With the Australian national team she took part in the world championships in 1983 and 1985 . In 1983 she reached the final against England with this , which ended 2-1 in favor of the Australians. Miller lost in three sets in her game against Angela Smith . Two years later she was third with the team. In the individual she was also in 1983 and 1985in the main field of the world championship. She was eliminated in the round of 16 in 1983, while she reached the quarter-finals in 1985. She lost this to Lucy Soutter in three sets. In the same year she won the Australian Open .
