Jan Niklas Fingerle (* 1974 in Münster ) is a former German politician of the Pirate Party .

Career

Fingerle is a qualified computer scientist and works as a software developer . In 2009 he was a founding member of the Pirate Party in Saarland and was elected deputy state chairman of the Saarland Pirate Party. For the 2009 federal election he ran as the top candidate on the Saarland state list. Since October 2011 he has been a member of the state executive committee. In March 2012, he ran in the Saarland state election on the state list , as well as on the district electoral list of Saarbrücken, his party. In August 2012, Fingerle was in a crucial vote against, among others former Chairman Jasmin Maurer elected state chairman. In June 2013 he decided not to run for chairman again and was re-elected as a member of the state executive committee. In new board elections in November 2013, he did not run again for election.

Fingerle was elected to number 1 on the state list of the Saarland Pirate Party for the 2013 federal election.

On November 11, 2014, Fingerle resigned from the Pirate Party Germany.
