Jan Rohdewald (born March 22, 1973 in Münster ) is a former German basketball player .

career

player

Rohdewald played for UBC Münster and in the basketball league for SVD 49 Dortmund , Telekom Baskets Bonn , TSK Bamberg , EnBW Ludwigsburg and Artland Dragons . He completed his competitive sports career in the 2009/10 season with the GiroLive-Ballers Osnabrück in the second division.

The greatest success of Rohdewald was winning the 2008 German cup competition with Quakenbrück. In 1997 he was promoted to German runner-up with Bonn, ten years later he reached the final series of the German championship again with Quakenbrück. In 2008 he took part in the Bundesliga all-star game. During his career he was particularly valued as an accurate distance thrower. After his professional time he played in the old men team of his home club UBC Münster.

Rohdewald, who obtained a diploma in sports management in 2003 and passed his second state examination in law in 2010, started working as a lawyer and player consultant after his professional career had ended. On June 1, 2011 he took over the management of the player consulting company "Lumani 10.7 GmbH", which was founded in 2007 by the former national player Marko Pesic .
